A workshop for beginners and beyond with something for everyone!

We warmly welcome you to this workshop with Nicole Skoro & Sri Vijay Anand from Nic Sko YOGA Coventry & Moseley Yoga.

The session will be suitable for beginners and experienced yogi’s and a brilliant opportunity for anyone wishing to widen their choices in their yoga practice.

The workshop will be split in to two main parts:

1- 70 Minute Yoga Practice plus more (15:00-16:30)

2- 90 Minute Kundalini Tantra Introductory Workshop (16:30-18:00)

Part 1 will be presented by Nicole

A 70 minute practice to nourish mind, body & soul. Moving & breathing mindfully through some of the foundation postures of Yoga.

To close there will be a 20min optional break before part 2, where there will be some time for some creativity (movement / art), Q&A’s, and advice on how to bring yoga in to your everyday life.

Part 1 will include everything you love about about yoga & more:

- Pawanmuktasana (warm up / mobilisation)

- Asana / Kriya (yoga postures & cleansing practices)

- Vinyasa Flow (flowing movement between postures)

- Restorative Yin Postures

- Relaxation & Meditation

- Pranayama (breath work)

- Chakra work (energy centre focus / cleanse / activation)

- Mudra & Bandha (energy seals & locks)

Plus 20 mins for:

- Break

- Creative Session

- Q&A’s

- Bringing your yoga practice into your everyday life

Nicole has been practicing yoga for 12 years, she has trained in Hatha and Vinyasa, and also brings influence from Kundalini, Yogalates, Yin & Restorative yoga styles.

Part 2 will be presented by Sri Vijay Anand

This workshop is right for true seekers of spiritual growth as well as beginners.

This workshop offers training in authentic practices that expand and unify consciousness; unlocking the limitless potential we are all born with. Tantra is a key in yoga that provides some of the most effective and transformational practices. It is specifically designed for those of us that live a normal and everyday life. A way for us to find that authentic sense of being at peace in the world without needing to remove or isolate ourselves from what’s around us.

This session will include:

- An Introduction to the Basic principles of Kundalini-Tantra Yoga

- Asana flow with kundalini-Tantra focus to balance and rejuvenation

- Practices for bliss and harmony

- Powerful pranayama breathwork session

- The relationship between tantra and yoga explained

- Deeply relaxing tantric meditation

- Karmic Astrology demonstration

- Q & A Session

Sri Vijay Anand is a Yogi and Tantra Master ready to share the esoteric techniques that are passed down only orally. Naturally this will encompass ancient methods not covered in typical yoga training courses.

Facilities & Info:

• Toilets & parking on site or on adjacent roads

• Please bring your own mat if you have one (we will have some spares available too)

• Wear comfortable clothing you can stretch in.

• You may wish to bring a scarf / blanket or something warm for relaxation / meditation

• Bring your own water bottle

• You may wish to bring a cushion or a scarf / towel to sit on if you know sitting on the floor is uncomfortable for you. There are also chairs in the room you can use if needed.

• You’re welcome to bring your own food if you feel necessary for during the break, though it’s recommended to keep it light for part 2 practice

CANCELLATION POLICY

At Moseley Yoga, we understand how life can sometimes get in the way of our plans. That is why our cancellation policy is simple and straightforward.

 

- If you are unable to attend a prepaid class or workshop, please notify us (by phone or email) at least one hour prior to the session. In such case, we will offer credit to which can be redeemed for another session.

- If you are unable to notify us of your cancellation one hour before the session or simply forget to attend, we cannot offer credit or refunds. 

 (Moseley Yoga does not offer refunds except in the unlikely event of cancelling a class or workshop).
