“… Flow – the state in which people are so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter; the experience itself is so enjoyable that people will do it even at great cost, for the sheer sake of doing it.”

Csikzentmihalyi, 1991

An energising dynamic class, we gracefully flow through several dynamic spirited based sequences intended to create heat and strength in the body while having a calming effect on the mind.

As we use the breath to fuel the movements, we gain control over the mind and body. Regular practice of Dynamic Flow can quickly build strength and suppleness while bringing coolness and calm to the mind. Suitable for newly experienced to intermediate, as modifications and progressions, will be offered.

Classic yoga asanas, exploring the asanas at a slower pace on standing and seated asanas, paying attention to body alignment, challenging your co-ordination through movement.

As we focus on working the physical body, tensions in the body and mind are released. This class incorporates all aspects of a traditional Hatha yoga class – breath, meditation and asana.

Great place to start if you are new to Yoga or want to advance or deepen your practice preparing for deeper meditation. The practice of Hatha Yoga is to prepare the body for meditation.

Beginners Yoga class -its all about finding your true self through the gentle flow of the mind-body balance.

Our yoga for beginners is for everyone and for every body. You don't need to be flexible or strong to start. Being calm and soft while strong and stable takes yoga practice to a deeper level.

The class goes with steadiness and ease, that which gives asanas their transformative foundation.

In Yin class asanas are held for longer periods of time, mainly working the lower part of the body - the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The asanas are held for up to five minutes.

Restorative yoga, a practice that leads the yogi toward a more healing and recuperative experience, often overshadowed by the active more dynamic yoga styles, yet its benefits are profound.

The restorative practice is slow paced, holding a few simple asanas, relying on the use of props for a prolonged period to achieve a very deep level of relaxation. The slower pace and deep breathing in our restorative yoga class triggers the parasympathetic nervous system from the start. This calms the effects of the regular fight-or-flight stress response that can be damaging to your physiology and well-being.

Restorative yoga opens you up to a deeper understanding of your own body, new levels of self-exploration and contemplation, allowing your inner being to shine forth.

Through the practice, you awaken grace, self-confidence, flexibility, balance, strength, and present moment awareness. Yin with Restorative, not much physical effort needed, you will be taken deep into relaxation and restoration. Combining yin and restorative for the ultimate rejuvenating experience.

For absolutely everyone.

Always listen to your body's feedback and remember that if something doesn't feel good, it usually means it isn't good for your body. You can always adapt. Remember, we are all different and you are the expert on your own body.

Are you pregnant? or less than 10 weeks post-natal, then we ask that you do not attend our Yoga classes. Our yoga instructors are not trained in pregnancy yoga, so to keep safe we would ask that you find a specialist pregnancy class should you be seeking yoga.
